Wrongful Conviction, Policing, and the "War on Crime"

This book chapter shows how police practices can contribute to wrongful convictions. It theorizes that the heated rhetoric surrounding the so-called wars on crime and drugs has contributed to policing tactics that increase the probability of wrongful convictions.
